At an Internet café, someone has just injected a virus to crash a freshly installed operating system. In all three of these horror scenarios, a legacy, file-based backup solution may not be the option you are looking for: Even if you manage to find the necessary backup disk, you’ll have to reinstall the operating system before you can even start restoring the backup.
