Citadel 7.5 Groupware Provides ClamAV Integration
The Citadel project has released version 7.5 of its GPL3-licensed groupware server. The release improves the web interface and countless other details.
Email, calendaring, address books, bulletin boards and instant messaging now form a more integrated package, where noticeably the system puts business card attachments better into VCard format. To protect emails against viruses, you can now directly integrate the free ClamAV antivirus toolkit. Developers also worked on the calendar to better implement recurring appointments and meetings across the system, and you can now schedule whole and multiple day events.
The WebCit framework that builds the Citadel web interface is now templatized to make it easier to resize text fonts for different screen sizes.
Citadel 7.50 is ready for download and installation using Easy Install and as Debian/Ubuntu packages.
