Google Chrome Ready For Business

Dec 16, 2010

Google announced that Chrome is ready for business and the wait to deploy Chrome and Google Apps for Business is over.

"Today, we’re announcing that Chrome offers controls that enable IT administrators to easily configure and deploy the browser on Windows, Mac, and Linux according to their business requirements," says Glenn Wilson and Daniel Clifford of Google in a blog post yesterday.

Now available for download is the new MSI installer that Google has created and added support features include various management services along with policy templates for ease of administration.

In addition to Google, several organizations have successfully deployed Chrome over the last few months and provided developers with feedback and feature requests. Google is asking for other businesses to give Google Apps for Business a try and let the developers know what you think.

See the post by Wilson and Clifford and Google's website for more information on Google Apps for Business and Chrome.
