Kamoso 1.0: Webcam Tool for KDE 4

Oct 13, 2009

Cheese is a simple yet practical graphic tool that has been available to Gnome users for quite a while. Kamoso now provides KDE fans with their own solution.

The application from the Spaniard Aleix Pol, takes one-click pictures and videos that can be integrated into social networks, so for example, images can be uploaded directly to a Facebook account or videos to YouTube.

The newly released version 1.0 has fixed a lot of bugs and comes with German, Czech and Greek localization. The Spanish programmer and maintainer is looking for collaborators to help with further project development. Anyone interested can get in touch on the Kamoso mailing list. The source code can be found at Gitorius.
