Sciret 2.0.0: Knowledge Management
The developers of Sciret have completely re-worked their free Knowledge Management system.
With large parts of its software re-written, Sciret 2.0.0 comes with a more user-friendly, categorized navigation concept and the ability to share articles on social sites like reddit and digg. News about future changes and updates can be obtained via a subscription RSS feed.
Spam-protection is provided by a choice of plug-ins such as Akismet, Typepad or Antispam and attachments can be scanned for viruses using the free software ClamAV.
Licensed under the revised BSD, the new release will run on PHP from version 4.2 and My SQL 4.1 or above. The PHP source code is available from the project's Subversion repository.
