Apr 27, 2010

Google announces this year's Summer of Code winners.

Among the winners are the KDE project, with around 50 students, and the Debian project can count on about 10 Google scholarships. Others include well known open source projects such as the Mozilla Foundation (13), Mono (10), Wine (5), Gimp (3) and LXDE (3). The exact number of winners for some projects is still pending.

The list of participants is extensive and might take some time to load from the Web. As an alternative, the list of accepted organizations is also available.
