The Bino media player supports various 3D formats and techniques. In combination with a D2342P monitor by LG, you can convert your home PC into a 3D movie theater for just a fistful of dollars.
When the blockbuster Avatar was released, 3D hype started to make inroads into homes. Ever since, the demand to view 3D movies or play 3D games at home has been growing. In this article, I investigate 3D solutions on Linux with the LG D2342P display in combination with the open source Bino [1] movie player, which you can integrate easily with an existing system (see the “Installation” box).
