OOoCon 2008: Open Office Looking for Venue

The Open Office project is looking for a venue for the OpenOffice.org Conference (OOoCon) 2008. Local organizational teams can apply before the 31 January deadline.

The annual conference held by the free software project is made possible by volunteers. Besides a suitable venue, a suitable meeting room, overnight accommodation and access to the free office package (for example, multiple installations on site) the project is looking to establish a local team to handle the details. For more information on the application procedure go to Call for Location (CfL) on the information page .

Previous conference have taken place in Germany, Slovenia anf France . OOoCon 2007 took place in Barcelona.
