Using the Bottle framework to build Python apps

Final Word

The simple web app described in this article is intended to give you a general idea of Bottle's capabilities. The source code for the app is available at GitHub [2], so you don't have to write it from scratch. Despite (or perhaps thanks to) its simplicity, you can repurpose the app for other uses. With a few tweaks, you can transform the app into a bookmark manager, note-taking app, code snippet repository, or other personal helper.
