Whatever happened to RSS, that snappy little protocol that used to deliver news reports and blog updates? Actually, it's still out there – people just stopped talking about it. Blogmasters would much rather you give them your email address so they can send you their weekly (or sometimes daily) newsletter. Many blogs and news sites still support RSS, so if you don't feel like signing up for the newsletter, why not receive the update through RSS and email it to yourself?
