Once again, the LISA organizers rolled out a top-notch event. This year, LISA was held at the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center, which is one funky, unique facility (in a good way).

Although I didn't do a head count, I saw a nice mix of both men and women at LISA '08. The majority of the event organizers are women, and women were also well-represented in technical sessions both as attendees and presenters. On Thursday, November 13, for example, Linux Pro and USENIX provided a Live stream from Janice Gelb's "WTFM: Documentation and the System Administrator" session, and we also streamed Æleen Frisch and Kyrre Begnum's "Virtualization! What Is It Good For?" session earlier in the week. (Stream archive will also be available on our site.)

If you couldn't make it to LISA this year, you can watch the video archives, or mark your calendar and plan on attending next year in Baltimore.
