Proposals for presentations at the CeBIT Open Source Forum will be accepted through 24 January 2016.
CeBIT 2016: Call for Open Source Contributions
The Open Source Forum is one of the most visited events at CeBIT, which takes place in Hannover, Germany, from 14 to 18 March 2016. Around 60 slots are available for presentations about Open Source, Linux, and free software and hardware. Themes this year include the Internet of Things, Systems Administration and Automation, Open Hardware and Raspberry Pi, and Security and Privacy. Talks, including a subsequent question and answer session, should be 20 and 45 minutes, respectively, and may be presented in German or English.
Computec Media GmbH is accepting proposals for presentations until 24 January 2016. Interested parties should contact the organizers via the associated form. Alternatively, you may send a brief description of your talk, along with a phone number, to callforpapers@linux-magazin.de. Presentation slots will be awarded by an international jury of open source experts. A portion of slots are reserved for sponsors of the Open Source Forum (contact: judith.gratias-klamt@computec.de).
The Open Source Forum will be located in Hall 3, Booth D35. Adjacent to the Forum, the Open Source Park will showcase small and medium-sized business solutions around Linux and Open Source software (contact: h.engels@pluspol.de).
