LibreOffice On Frugalware 1.4 Release

Frugalware 1.4 (Nexon) is general purpose linux distribution, designed for intermediate users that is now available and using LibreOffice.

The Frugalware Development team notes that LibreOffice has replaced OpenOffice.org in version 1.4. Additional package changes from version 1.3 to 1.4 include the 2.6.37 Linux kernel, Xorg server 1.9, GNOME 2.32, KDE SC 4.5, Drupal 7 and Python 2.7. OSSv4 has been added and users are encouraged to try it if having issues with ALSA.

While Frugalware 1.4 is now available download, the announcement states those who are upgrading from version 1.3 should read the upgrade section of the documentation. The Nexon changelogs and complete list of mirrors are also available.
