Shuttle LinuXPC with SUSE Linux Operating System Available in the UK
Shuttle Inc., the market leader in the Mini-PC sector and manufacturer of multiple form- fctor solutions, is now offering its mini PCs preloaded with Linux in the UK.
The two compact PCs made of aluminium can be individually configured in the official Shuttle Systems Configurator. They are delivered pre-installed and ready to connect and include 24 months pick-up and- return service. "Following the launch of Linux-based turnkey systems in Germany in September, we received many enquiries from the UK", explains Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. "We are already planning to expand into other European countries."

Shuttle LinuXPC SD3002W with SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 SP1
The Mini-PC solutions based on tried-and-trusted Intel chipset and processor technologies, are now available with a DVI digital visual interface that enables the LinuXPC to make optimum use of large-scale TFT displays. Two variants in two different colours are available: The Shuttle LinuXPC SD3002W runs the SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 SP1 and the Shuttle LinuXPC SD3002Q comes with openSUSE pre-installed. Both variants have DDR2 memory, multi-core processor support, I.C.E. heatpipe cooling technology, PCI-Express x16 and PCI slots, a gigabit network port, 8 channel audio, FireWire and a powerful 250 watt power supply.
The devices are available immediately from retailers (in Germany, the UK and Austria).
