Spoiled for Choice: Assorted Linux from Ultilex 4.0.0
Ultilex 4.0.0 promises to be the ultimate Linux experience: the multi-boot live Linux distribution offers a whole bouquet of Linux distributions to prove it.
Nomen est Omen: Ultilex is an acronym for “Ultimate Linux Experience,” meaning the user has a choice of numerous Linux variations packed onto one live CD.
Version 4.0.0 comes with Slax 6.1.1, (a slim edition of Slackware), Puppy Linux 4.2.1, Tiny Core 2.1, Parted Magic 4.3 and a system-rescue CD v.1.2.2. Utilex can be either lean and mean (Slax, Puppy, Tiny Core) or highly specialized (Parted Magic and System Rescue CD) with Clonezilla hidden in Parted Magic.
Ultilex can be installed by USB stick, which leaves users space to save changes in the live mode. The Swiss-knife equivalent of distributions can be downloaded here and the Dao of Ultilex, explains how to master multi-boots.
