Where Shall OOoCon 2011 Meet?
The annual OpenOffice conference takes place this year the end of September in Budapest. The project is also looking for suggestions for 2011.
There is no definite time of year when the annual conference should take place, although the OpenOffice project has always leaned toward the fall. Proposals for venues can be submitted until Sunday, February 21, 2010. It should describe the location of the conference hall, possible travel limitations to the country in which it will be located, and the approximate cost of accommodations.
The proposal this year for Budapest is a good example. The OpenOffice.org project requests sending new proposals for 2011 to ooocon@openoffice.org.
