Create a standalone GPS system with offline maps
Summary
I was happily surprised how easy Navit was to get up and running with some old hardware. For my testing, I used navit-git 0.5.0+git:0000-, which ran very smoothly on some old Atom and i386 32-bit hardware. However, on my Raspberry Pi 3, navit-git 0.5.5 was installed. This version did not come with the maptool utility, so I needed to create my binfiles on my laptop and then move the files over.
