Google Docs Becomes Web Storage

Jan 14, 2010

Google has added Web storage to its Google Docs service.

In an official blog, the Internet giant announced that its Google Docs service will add the ability to upload, store, and access favorite files up to 250MB in size "over the next few weeks."

Every registered user will get a free gigabyte of storage space. Customers of the cost-based Google Apps Premier Edition have the additional option of purchasing more storage at US$3.50 per GB per year. As has been the case with Google Docs, other registered users can share in the file access.
