Cool Cuts: Video Editor and VJ Tool Lives v.1.0
After a long test phase, the video editor and VJ tool Lives, has been released in a stable version 1.0.
Not much has changed since the the pre-1-Version announcement. The changelog confesses that most of the work went into translations and the software now opens DVD files larger than 2GBs.
The few other changes to Lives include general repairs and improvements of stability, a new theme and the GUI has been slightly overworked.
With its focus firmly on software like Mencoder, Mplayer and Imagemagick, the Lives sourcecode can be found , complete with installation instructions.
