Screensaver with Unicode

Dec 18, 2009

Debian developer Joachim Breitner offers up a screensaver which displays random characters from a reserve supplied by Unicode.

In addition, the program shows further information from unicode numbers and names. The Version 0.2 is the second release after the first time release of the program in the beginning of December. The screensaver is licensed in Open Source form and is accompanied by a permission notice and uses a bit of code from Xscreensaver.

Unicode screensaver is presently only available as source code Tarball via Breitner’s site. To compile, some developer libraries are required (such as libraries for Libx11 and Libfontconfig). The readme data contains further neccessary indications.
