Open Source Ethics

Good afternoon, Klaus: Here at work, we found a story about something called LSP for migrating Windows NT to Linux but found no repository available for us to perform a test. I would like to know whether some software like this exists. – Christiano

Although I don’t personally know this special advertised “automatic Windows to Linux migration” product, its description sounds to me very much like a standard setup for replacing a proprietary Windows server with free software, based on GNU/ Linux, in a smooth migration scenario that allows one to use Linux and Windows in parallel, sharing most of the same resources.
