Simple backup with Back In Time
Conclusions
Anyone who is satisfied with simple backups will be well served by Back In Time. In almost no time, you can familiarize yourself with the tool and achieve good results. At most, the software can be problematic when it reaches its limits, such as using symlinks, eliminating errors, or specifically including and excluding folders and files with complex patterns. However, to run smoothly, the software does expect you to have a reliable filesystem such as ext4 or Btrfs on the data medium used for the backup.
