Long ago, people wanted their records lined up on their bookcases. Then the records were 8-tracks, cassettes, and CDs. Then came the iPods, but hey – you still had your own copy of the music. Now so much of the music is floating in the cloud – you don't own it; you stream it. But they're keeping a list of everything you play, and what happens if you want to discontinue your subscription?
