Google and O'Reilly will present open source awards at OSCON again this year. Allison Randall's recent blog post says that you have until May 15th to send in your nominations to osawards AT oreilly DOT com. Mackenzie wrote an interesting observation about how geek women are perceived and how they present themselves. If you are a woman in open source, you've probably had similar experiences to what she and her friend Elfine have in this field.
