French distributor Mandriva Linux has now opened a club website formerly restricted to all Mandriva users to the general public.
The online club gives users access to various offerings for the Linux distribution including a knowledge base, a RPM package source, repositories with documentation and access to the "Expert Support Platform".
The club is Wiki-based. Despite shifting to free access, Mandriva requires users to register to open an account. Mandriva has also moved commercial distribution downloads to the new Powerpack Download Subscription.
If you follow the fortunes of large installation IT, tune in on November 12-14 for a front row ticket to the Invited Talks series of the USENIX LISA conference.
