Doghouse – How to Do IT
The flexibility of FOSS – and its open source nature – means it can address a number of issues, even beyond programming.
The past two months, I have talked about the issues of sovereignty and international money flow, and how some countries are beginning to wake up to the fact that they are sending significant amounts of their taxpayer dollars outside of their countries when they should really be directing it toward their local economies and local citizens.
This month, I will talk about the 40 years that I have been telling them to use the FOSS techniques to develop their economies, and how I have heard all too many people tell me all too many times, "It is too expensive" and "It can not be done."
I'm tired of that. So for those people who say those things, please just get out of the way. For the rest of the people, read on, but realize that I may be getting a bit philosophical from here on out.
