A Linux Success Story: Optelian Migrates to Linux
The Linux Foundation announced that Optelian, a company that designs and manufactures optical transport systems that send data across optical fiber, successfully migrated to Linux.
In the announcement, Amanda McPherson, Vice President of Marketing and Developer Programs for the Linux Foundation, writes about end users, such as Optelian, who are deploying Linux in their products.
In the case study released last week, McPherson looks at how Optelian is using Linux, how the company selected the Linux Foundation's training courses, and why it decided to migrate to Linux.
