Ada Initiative Launches Today

Launched today, The Ada Initiative is a new non-profit organization dedicated to increasing participation of women in open technology and culture.

Launched today, by co-founders Mary Gardiner and Valerie Aurora, The Ada Initiative looks to increase women's participation in open source software, Wikipedia and other open data, open social media and more.

For those who wish to participate in this new initiative individuals can join and follow the group's blog, announcements list, supporters list, twitter account and a Facebook Group.
