'Angry Birds' Flock to webOS
Addictive mobile game comes to Palm's Pre and Pre Plus.
"Angry Birds" the popular iOS game that has players launch volleys of birds at nefarious pigs, has landed in Palm's app store.
The Rovio game is one of the most downloaded games in 60 countries and the company is preparing to expand the franchise into a line of toys and possibly a feature film.
"Angry Bird" runs on webOS 1.4.5, but Palm promises additional support planned for older versions of the Linux-based webOS. The app is available for a mere US$ 1.99 and can be downloaded at Palm's App Catalog.
For more information, including an interview with one of the game's creators, check the Palm developer blog.
