Oct 13, 2010

Help explain FOSS issues to lawyers. No bonus points for illustrations.

Groklaw is reporting a call for papers for The International Free and Open Source Software Law Review, the first peer-reviewed law review devoted exclusively to FOSS issues. The IFOSSLR bills itself as a "collaborative legal publication aiming to increase knowledge and understanding among lawyers about Free and Open Source Software issues."

The magazine covers issues regarding copyrights, license interpretation and implementation, open standards, software patents, and case law and statutory changes. IFOSSLR are interested in papers from both lawyers familiar with these topics and developer and community members with relevant expertise.

Submissions can be made at www.ifosslr.org. For full information can be found here.
