Kaazing to Host HTML5 User Groups
Websocket specialist Kaazing hosting three user groups in an effort to improve HTML5 the developer community.
The Websocket specialists at Kaazing are hosting three open forum/development seminars on HTML5, the next iteration of the core markup language of the Web. The user groups are being held in hopes to foster an HTML5 developer community and expand the knowledge base of the those in attendance.
"Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Apple have all indicated that the future of the web is HTML5. By engaging developers through these open forums, Kaazing continues to secure its position within the development community as the global industry leader in HTML5 education," said Kaazing CEO Jonas Jacobi.
The first meetup is scheduled in London on May 19 at The Skills Matter Exchange. Peter Lubbers author of "HTML5 WebSocket and Communication" and co-author of "Pro HTML5 Programming" will discuss the history, application and evolution of HTML5, followed by a Q&A.
The SF HTML5 meetup takes place on May 28 in San Francisco will discuss HTML5 and other open Web standards CSS3 and Java. There are only 12 spots left for this meetup.
Finally, the New York Meet Up will be held on June 16 and will feature another overview by Lubbers. The meetup is limited to only 60 people. Register here.
