Linux Fund UK Business Credit Card Now Available

May 04, 2010

Linux Card supports open source projects.

If you were on-hand at OggCamp last weekend, you were also on-hand for the debut of The Linux Fund's UK Business Credit Card, a card, that, like it's US equivalent, benefits open source projects and events with every purchase.

The card is issued by the MBNA, the card offers 0% interest for the first 9 months before jumping up to 17.9% variable. A £29 annual fee applies as well.

"Our card revenue goes primarily to community event sponsorships and has since our founding in 1999," said Michael Dexter, Linux Fund Program Director.

European Linux users can apply for the card at www.linuxfund.org. The card will also be on display next weekend at Ottawa Ontario's BSDCan 2010.
