Live Broadcast from Perspektive Open Source Conference
October 23 through 26, 2007, Linux Magazine will be broadcasting from the conference on business use of Open Source solutions via live streaming on the Internet.
The conference addresses IT decision makers from mid-sized businesses and municipalities with practically oriented topics. On the four days of the event, half-day sessions will answer questions on the cost, technical feasibility, or security of Open Source solutions based on practical examples.
The seven sessions reflect typical fields of application where small to mid-sized organizations can benefit from free software. Each session will be followed by detailed 10-minute reports of production use or 10-minute product presentations on major Open Source solutions. The topics include alternatives to Exchange, and Groupware solutions based on Open Source, high availability and clustering for mid-sized businesses, spam and viruses, effective strategies with free software or Windows/Linux integration with Server Based Computing.
Details of the program, prices and registration are available here.
