Texas Instruments (TI) announces the OpenLink project which focuses on providing a wide range of wireless connectivity solutions for Linux.

According to the announcement, OpenLink.org provides a single access point to resources for open connectivity development, including access to TI's open connectivity drivers (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM radio technologies); software support for popular Linux-based operating systems; and project registration, sharing, maintenance and tracking. OpenLink.org also provides hardware support for development platforms, such as BeagleBoard and PandaBoard, and community engagement through a dedicated IRC channel, wiki, and mailing list. The project site also provides related news and videos.

More information, source code, and community support can be found on the OpenLink website.
