It is, therefore, incredibly important to get open source software that's not just available for kids, but exciting and relevant for them. This month, Mike takes a look at one project hoping to be just this: Minetest, an open source project inspired by the hugely popular Minecraft game.
For those readers at, ahem, the other end of the age spectrum, we've also investigated one of the oldest programming languages around, COBOL. Mike takes a look at this language that steadfastly refuses to fade away.
