Create Geotagged Galleries in WordPress with Easy2Map Photos

Productivity Sauce
If you want to publish geotagged photos on your WordPress-powered blog, you can do much worse than using Easy2Map Photos for the job. This plugin lets you generate sleek photo galleries from geotagged photos complete with a map and a marker pointing to the exact location where each photo was taken. Better still, the plugin can be used to map non-geotagged photos, too. When installed and activated, the plugin adds the dedicated Easy2MapPhotos section in the administration interface where you create and manage photo galleries.
To create a new gallery, click on the Create New Photo Map link, give the gallery a descriptive name, and use the Select image button to pick the desired photo. Press then Upload This Photo to add the photo to the gallery. Once the photo has been added, you can see its larger preview. If the photo contains geographical coordinates, the plugin automatically displays a marker on the map below the preview. For a non-geotagged photo, the plugin conveniently offers you to place the marker on the desired place on the map. The clever part is that you don't have to do this manually. Type the full or partial address of the place where the photo was taken (e.g., street, city, country, etc.) in the appropriate field, pick the desired location from the list of matching results, and the plugin adds the marker at the specified location on the map. In the Edit Photo Details panel, you can enter text which will be displayed as an overlay on the photo. When you're done, press the Save Photo button. Using the described procedure, you can add as many photos as you need. Press then the Photo Map Completed button to save the gallery, and use the generated short code to insert the created gallery into a blog article. Using the plugin, you can create multiple galleries and edit them at any time.
