Stormy Peters Hired as Executive Director of GNOME Foundation

Stormy Peters announced on her OpenLogic blog that she accepted the Executive Director position with the GNOME Foundation. Stormy has a long history with the GNOME community and was one of the founding members of the GNOME Foundation Advisory Board in 2000. On her blog, Stormy says, "I found the GNOME community extremely welcoming and passionate about their project. They got me hooked on open source and I've been spreading the word ever since." Stormy is continuing with OpenLogic in an advisory role.
