Conference Schedule for KDE Camp 2010
It's become tradition that KDE fans and developers meet twice a year to hold a sizable conference. This year's Camp KDE in San Diego begins in 10 days.
After the success of the European meetings, under the name Akademy, the KDE association has for the second time organized a conference oversees. Last year it was Jamaica, this year it takes place in Californian San Diego and will last from January 15 to 21. The opening weekend will see 3 days of talks and lectures with the conference closing on Wednesday/Thursday with each of the KDE groups holding BoF sittings and hacking sessions.
The detailed schedule can be viewed online at the Camp KDE homepage. Alongside keynotes from Philip Bourne on the subject of open data access, and Frank Karlitschek on KDE and the Cloud, many other interesting lectures on the KDE desktop in general, including development, also for beginners from Justin Kirby: Getting Involved as a Non-Developer, and Documentation by David Wonderly can be found on the agenda.
