Django releases 1.2 RC1
Python-based Web framework gets early glimpse of version 1.2
Django, the Python-based Web framework designed to quickly build Web apps, has announced the release of Django Developer Kit 1.2 RC1.
In preparation for the Django 1.2 release, the team rolled out a testing package with an early version of 1.2. The Django modules included in the kit are:

The final version of 1.2 is slated for release next week. The kit itself is available in a variety of image types here.
