Free Live Stream of Apachecon Europe Keynotes
Linux Magazine is broadcasting a live stream from ApacheCon Europe 2008, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (April 9 through 11). The keynotes from the developer conference are available free of charge.
ApacheCon is the official Apache Software Foundation (ASF) conference. Numerous talks focus on Apache, Tomcat, Lucene, and many other topics with subjects ranging from system administration, Java and Ajax development and Web services through to Web application security.
Cliff Schmidt from Literacy Bridge is giving the keynote on the first day of the conference; Literacy Bridge fights illiteracy using Open Source technologies. On day two, the Open Source Initiative's (OSI) Rishab Ayer Ghosh will discuss various collaboration models under the heading of "Apache and Steam Engines". Roy Fielding, the co-founder and Vice President of ASF will be holding a keynote on "Apache 3.0" where he will be talking about the next major step in the Web server's development.
