Initial Spark for Nero 4
The Nero company has its latest Nero Linux 4 available now for download for $20.
The proprietary Nero burn software for Linux is available as two applications, the Nero Burning ROM for advanced users and a new Nero Linux Express 4, a wizard to help those just starting out. The company also provides a Nero Linux 4 Essentials for OEMs and hopes thereby to win access to the netbook market.
Nero Linux 4 copies and burns audio files and data on CDs and DVDs, as well as ISO-9660 filesystems on Blu-ray media. Audio formats are MP3Pro, FLAC and WAV version 3, with MusePack and AIFF newly added. SmartDetect automatic drive support searches independently for removable storage. The Linux version can't come even close to the volume of Windows Nero versions out there and it lacks their video functions.

It's great in windows, for windows, as windows is very limited, but why pay for something like this outside of windows (at least for now) when there's free and better alternatives. k3b, etc.
