KDE 4.1.2 Released

Oct 06, 2008

A new bugfix for KDE 4.1, codenamed 'Codename', has been released by the KDE community.

Besides numerous fixes, Version 4.1.2 has translation updates and improved performance. Within the framework of the monthly updates for KDE 4, developers have found and corrected errors in Konqueror, Kopete, Gwenview and Kgng. Problems with the deletion of data have been rectified and the delete function is now considerably quicker.

New features and improvements can be found in only a few components: Konqueror sees the return of 'Stop animations', Okular’s default view shows documents zoomed to page-width and thanks to improvements in the Khtml engine, Konqueror with CSS builds up web pages a lot faster.
KDE 4.1.2 is immediately available on the KDE 4.1.2 info page in source code, and for some distributions in binary code, for download.
