CEO boasts rich media experience and an eye on mobile.

The Mozilla Corporation announced the appointment of their new CEO, Gary Kovacs. Previously, Kovacs was General Manager of Mobile at Adobe for five years and before that was the vice president of product group and the vice president product marketing and developers at Macromedia.

Lilly wrote a welcome post for Kovacs on his blog saying that Kovacs has a "deep background in the battlefields that will define the future of the Open Web: mobile and rich media."

Lilly went on to call Kovacs a great communicator and listener and said that Kovacs understands the unique strengths and weaknesses of Mozilla.
