SUSE Studio: Live CDs and SD Images for Eee 701
In May 2008 at Linuxtag in Berlin, Nat Friedman had presented SUSE Studio, with which you can build your own Linux distro with just a few mouse clicks. SUSE Studio images are now available for the Eee 701 PC.
Andrew Wafaa announced in his blog that he built specialized live CDs and SD card images for GNOME, KDE 3 and KDE 4 on the Eee 701 PC. After a few false starts and a couple dozen or so preliminary builds, Wafaa prepared the first image data with complete hardware and multimedia support for downloads. A version for XFCE should follow.
The images, along with a detailed software list and installation instructions, are here.
