For those who weren't about to make it the CeBIT Open Source Forum 2011 in Hannover, Germany earlier this month, video of the presentations are now available to the general public free of change.

The CeBIT Open Source Forum 2011 included more than 50 open source presentations over the five day event. Presentations this year included KNOPPIX 6.5 by Klaus Knopper, The Hidden Costs of closed source software by Jon "Maddog" Hall, Presentation of the Linux New Media Awards and much much more. Additionally the presentations are presented with the accompanying slides in an effort to give viewers a better viewing experience.

The full schedule and links to all the presentation videos can be found on the Linux Magazin website.

  • CeBIT Videos

Many of the sessions at CeBIT Open Source Forum were presented in German; however, many were presented in English as well.

This schedule should help readers determine which presentations are available in which language. http://www.linuxpromagazine...urce-Forum-2011-Live-Streaming

    Thank you!

  • I'm confused

The link is to a translated page - which links to videos in German. If one can watch the videos, one does not need the page translated I would think. Unless only some videos are in German. Every one I watched was.

I love that the videos are out there, just confused by how it is being presented here.
  • Wrong Place

    Hi,

i think it's just a typo, but Cebit is not in Hamburg, it's in Hannover.
