Marcel Gagné sent me a link to a recent article in the Register. The article, "Nut launches death threats at Debian women," quotes project leader Steve McIntyre as saying, "It was some kook in the US who made quite a name for himself harassing women for supposedly destroying the free software movement." I suppose I could write a lot more about this topic, but I don't want to give the "nut" any more attention than necessary, and I'd like to focus on all the positive things happening with women in open source: http://women.debian.org/home/ http://www.linuxchix.org/ http://ubuntu-women.org/ http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Women ...Jul 02, 2008 GMT
