Iomart Upgrades 300,000 Email Accounts Using Open-Xchange
Iomart Group, U.K. managed cloud services provider, announced today that it would use Open-Xchange to upgrade 300,000 email accounts.
With a successful pilot project completed, the Iomart Group announces today that it will migrate 300,000 customer e-mail accounts to the Open-Xchange e-mail and collaboration platform. The announcement also stated Iomart’s customers will be able to upgrade to advanced groupware features and mobility support in Open-Xchange.

Open-Xchange integrates e-mail, calendar, contact and task management with advanced groupware features such as information management and document sharing, along with cutting-edge social network integration. By adding the Open-Xchange mobility support option, users can receive push e-mail and synchronization of contacts, calendar and other information from their Open-Xchange account to their smartphones, including Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, Nokia, Windows Mobile and others.
