New MeeGo Screens Give Clues About Additional OS Features
Multitasking, app drawer, task manager
The MeeGo blog released new screens of the smartphone OS as part of a demonstration of the user-interface guidelines and in the process revealed some new features.

Multitasking is supported and handled in a couple of visually familiar ways. Users of the Palm Pre or Pixi will instantly recognize the carousel-style presentation that allows users to parse through running applications by swiping left-to-right or right-to-left on the touch screen.
Multitasking also can be displayed via a grid. In this configuration, open applications are arranged in a 2x2 grid with additional processes arranged and displayed separate pages.
Similar to Android, MeeGo contains an app drawer with applications displayed in a 3x4 grid with additional apps displayed on separated pages.
