Resurrected: KBluetooth
KDE developer Alex Fiestas has taken on the orphaned KDE Bluetooth. The first release under his supervision, Kbluetooth 0.4, has now been released.
According to Fiestas, data transmission and receive now works with every Bluetooth device. Input pairing functions with almost all devices, he says in his blog.
The developer has greatly improved the user interface and more importantly, fixed a huge number of bugs. Application crashes have become a thing of the past, he says, and the program is now compatible with KDE, versions from 4.3.
Kbluetooth is under GPL and has its own page at KDE Apps. Currently only a tarball is available. Alex Fiestas would like users to ask their distros for finished packages.
