Wordpress 2.9 with Undo and Media Editor
The free content management system, Wordpress, now available in version 2.9, (codename Carmen), comes with some major changes.
Among the changes is the undo/trash function that deposits deleted posts in the system trash can, from where they can be recovered. This eliminates the need for annoying warnings when files are deleted.
The built-in image editor can trim, rotate, mirror and scale graphics in the browser. Videos and pages like YouTube and Google Video can now be easily embedded.
Besides this, the batch mode now lets up to 10 plug-ins to be refreshed, saving the user some click work. Existing Wordpress installations can be brought up to version 2.9 with the ''Tools Upgrade'' function.
Further details, along with a video presentation, can be found on the Project's blog page. Wordpress 2.9 can be downloaded under the GPLv2.
